A fatal incident occurred in rural Mission. An autopsy revealed the cause of death to be accidental electrocution. The deceased was a 65-year-old individual.

Emergency responders were called to a property on Mirabel Street. Deputies from the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office were also dispatched to the scene. The sheriff's office is still looking into the circumstances surrounding the death.
