A second individual has been taken into custody in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident involving a bicyclist in Edinburg. The suspect, a 17-year-old Edinburg resident, surrendered to authorities on Tuesday morning.

The individual, identified as Jezaie Luis Gonzalez, faces a charge of false report to a police officer, classified as a class B misdemeanor. A bond of $5,000 was set for Gonzalez by a judge.
