A new phase of an exhibit has opened, featuring various animals such as ocelots, howler monkeys, and prehensile-tailed porcupines. According to the zoo's director, Dr. Pat Burchfield, the animals are enjoying their new homes. The ocelots, in particular, are making use of a custom-built skywalk in their habitat.

The animals were previously located in a rear section of the zoo, where they often went unnoticed. The new exhibit provides them with a more prominent space.

Further details about the exhibit and its features are available, including information about the ribbon-cutting ceremony that took place on August 28, 2026.
